Hello and welcome to GO, the Game On, LLC newsletter.
 
First let me thank those of you who have been participating in our weekly co-ed pickup Dodgeball games at the Miller Rec Center on Sundays from 1-3pm. We have had a consistent turn out of 10-12 players over the past few weeks. If you are interested in getting a good healthy work out in on a cold Sunday afternoon I highly recommend coming out and giving dodgeball a try. We can easily accommodate more than 40 players so there is plenty of room.

 

Over the past few months we have received several inquiries about existing sports programs. Unfortunately many of these inquiries came after the available registration period had ended. Too often new players are turned away due to a lack of available information. I find this disheartening. My experience with operating and working with the existing leagues around the area has shown that groups are always looking for more players. This is one of the primary reasons Game On, LLC was founded. By combining our resources to promote and develop the programs we can only improve the access to the sports people really want to play.

 

In some cases there are currently no options available. Over the next few weeks Game On, LLC will be working to secure field space and facilities for a number of programs to start this spring. Topping this list is a new Women's Field Hockey League operated by Game On, LLC. We are also looking at the options for both a men's and women's lacrosse league, a flag football program, a regularly scheduled outdoor basketball pick up game, and more. We will also be offering assistance to companies and charities interested in conducting special events or weekend tournaments.
