Hello and welcome to GO, the Game On, LLC newsletter.
 
I hope everyone had a great summer filled with many outdoor activities. While it is still officially fall, now is the time to look into winter activities to stave off the inevitable cabin fever.
 
Game On has been in contact with a number of the local organizations, and there are several open pickup games and recreation leagues going on now with more to start soon. Just a few include coed volleyball, men's and women's basketball, yoga, ice hockey, broomball, and floor hockey.
 
In addition to the existing programs, Game On is currently developing new leagues and pick up programs. Following last month's newsletter, we received several requests for a new men's basketball league and a handball league. These options and a few others are being considered. If you are interested in participating in one of these or have an idea for something different, please send me an email at lhodgetts@gameonvt.com.
 
On Sunday, November 15th, Game On will host a Dodgeball Tournament at the Miller Recreation Center on Gosse Court in the North End of Burlington. We are looking for teams of 8-10 people to participate in a 6v6, best of 5 match, double elimination tournament. For game play rules or more information, please check out our website at www.gameonvt.com. Individuals are encouraged to register as part of a team; however this is not required.
 
As a follow up to last month's newsletter, Game On would like to congratulate the Killa Bees on their victory over Balls Out in the Burlington Beer League softball playoff.
 
Also the Greater Burlington Floor Hockey League fall season is underway. Anyone interested in becoming a sub for the current season or in signing up for the next season starting in January should email gbfloorhockey@gmail.com.
