Description:
We are currently running an 8 week league, that plays on Tuesday nights, from 5:30-7:00 and 7:00-8:30, on the turf field at UVM. This program still has a few openings available for any woman over the age of 18 and all abilities levels are welcome. Games are (3) 20 minute periods with two 5-8 minute breaks, played on a full field with two officials and 11 players per side.
The league currently consists of 4 teams: All-Ages All-Stars, Platterators, Renegades, and Synergy.
Given the significant cost to rent the facility and pay for officials I am still soliciting companies to sponsor teams. If you know anyone that would be interested in sponsoring a team please let me know and I will be happy to contact them. I would also like to express my gratitude to Dave Whitcomb's Service Center, Vermont Hitec, and Carmenina's Cakes and Confections for their support of our program.
