Teams play one 9-inning game per week on Wednesday or Thursday nights and must have at least 1 women on the field. The thirteen week season starts the first week of June and ends in September with the top 6 teams advancing to a playoff.

Teams typically return year after year but we occasionally have room for free agents.

The Fall and Winter leagues are 12-13 weeks long. This winter session will be played 3v3 plus goalies at the Edmunds Elementary School gymnasium.

This is a noncontact, semi-competitive league open to anyone 18+. There are no gender requirements or restrictions for this program.

Games are be played following modified NCAA rules and will consist of (2) 25 minute running time halves with high school or college level officials.

Players can register individually or in small groups and will be placed on teams. Friend requests will be honored to the greatest extent possible however the goal is to create a fairly balanced league and teams may need to be adjusted accordingly.

The summer league will play on Tuesday nights starting mid June and run into August. Games will primarily be played on the UVM turf field at either 6:00pm or 7:00pm.

The fall league will play on Sunday afternoons starting in September and running through October. Games will primarily be played on the BHS turf field at either 1:00pm or 2:00pm.

Game On VT is excited to offer our summer field hockey program for players 7-13 years old. Open to players of all ability levels.

Players will have one hour of field time each week where they will learn basic stick skills, rules, positioning, and play short field games on the UVM Moulton Winder Field Hockey Field.

This youth program is split into three age groups.

U9: 7-9 years old (going into 2nd or 3rd grade)
U11: 9-11 years old (going into 4th or 5th grade)
U13: 11-13 years old (going into 6th, 7th, or 8th grade)
*These age groups are flexible and can be adjusted.

Players are required to have a stick, shin guards, and a mouth guard.
